What’s New for 2018?
Visually, the 2018 F-150 has received a new design grille and bumper as well as a new tailgate and wheels. The big change happened under the hood. The standard engine is now a powerful 3.3L V6 rather than the 3.5L that was previously the standard. The engine cylinder capacity may be slightly less, but the engine delivers more power and better fuel efficiency. In addition to engine upgrades, every F-150 has automatic start/stop technology.
Several models have updated interiors, with exciting new colors, materials, and options. Additional safety features and assists are now included, adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning amongst them.
Available Trims
There is a huge catalog of optional equipment, features, engines, and bed sizes available for the 2018 Ford F-150. There are six trim levels from the base XL through the ultra-luxurious Limited. For those that are serious about going off-road, there is the rough, tough Raptor.
All trims are available with a regular cab, extended cab or a Super or Crew Cab. There are also three-bed lengths. The standard bed measures six and a half feet. There is a bed length on either side of the standard; 8 feet as well as 5 feet 6 inches.
