Securing doors, panels and components in any workplace, industrial application or storage area is an important part of inventory management and control as well as safety. With a variety of different types of draw latches available you can find just the right hardware to secure anything you need with a simple, effective and durable latch.

The key is in finding the right draw latches for the job. While it is possible to use a basic draw latch, typically the over the center draw latch, for just about any closure requirement using a specialized latch is a simple way to ensure a secure closure.

Rotary Draw Latches

When you need to have a latch close to the surface of the panel, rotary draw latches are a perfect option. These have a tab or a catch to turn to engage or disengage the latch. They can also be designed with a keyed lock or a tool to open and, with a variety of sizes, they are very practical closures.

In addition, when you need a latch positioned out of sight, a concealed rotary draw latch is a great option. They are designed to draw panels together progressively for an airtight seal with no visible latching mechanism.

Over Center Draw Latches

Common on metal panels, doors and cases the over center draw latch offers a low profile, secure way to close anything. Since the lever is slightly curved the closure is extremely secure and tight while still looking sleek and matching the finish and material of the door or panels.

Adjustable Draw Latch

When the latch draw point is difficult to position an adjustable draw latch gives you the option to offset the draw closure and body of the latch. A hook or a ball end can be used based on the latch point material to hold the latch firmly in place. This is perfect for latching into frames and offset keepers.

These will have a smaller lever type of opener, which comes in many styles, and can be popped up to release and pushed down to secure the latch in place.

Over Center Wire Bail Draw Latch

The workhorse of all draw latches, this is the traditional type of latch you see on most industrial cases, toolboxes and other closures when easy opening and secure closing is a must.

All draw latches come in a variety of sizes, finishes and materials to correspond with just what is required. Several offer additional features such as plastic grips or keyed closures providing ease of used as well as additional security.
