If you are looking for a used sports car, talk to a Chrysler dealer in Erie PA. While sports cars are usually under the Dodge brand today, there are some notable exceptions. Below are listed three of the most popular sports cars in their lineup.
Chrysler Conquest
Introduced in 1983, the Conquest was a two-door, four-seat hatchback featuring a front 2.6-liter inline, turbocharger four-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive. The transmission was a five-speed manual. With its aerodynamic design, it was capable of reaching 145 horsepower.
The Chrysler Prowler
Manufactured between 1997-2002, the Prowler, a retro-styled “hot rod” had a top speed of 118 mph. By 1999, this had increased to 126mph. It could go from zero to 62mph in 5.9 seconds.
Chrysler 300
The 300 was born in 1955 and died 10 years later only to be resurrected in 2004. Always powerful, it was initially identified with the NASCAR crowd and ignored by the public in Erie PA. The revival of 2004 was a more sophisticated version. Its engine was a 6.1 liter Hemi V8 but, for 2023, it has increased to a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8. Unfortunately, while currently available from a licensed Chrysler dealer, it is being discontinued after 2023.
Chrysler Sports Cars
Whether you are a fan of classic sports cars from the past or prefer the latest models, talk to your Chrysler dealer. They can make clear the different options available. You can then make an informed decision between a current powerful C-300 or the Prowler, a retro-styled hot rod.
